AlabamaCPA exists to answer one question well: which CPA should I hire?If you run a business or manage a household in Alabama, that decision matters more than almost any other professional hire you'll make — and until now, the tools for making it were a search engine, a scraped directory, or a friend's guess.

What we do

We maintain a directory of licensed Alabama CPA firms — seeded from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy's public license roster — organized by city and by the services firms actually provide. Alongside it, we publish guides on Alabama CPA licensing, CPE requirements, pricing, and hiring, written specifically for this state rather than recycled national content.

If you'd rather not browse, our free matching service takes two minutes: tell us what you need, and we forward your request to licensed firms that handle that work in your area. Firms respond to you directly.

How we make money

We're transparent about this. Firms can pay for Featured placement in their city (always labeled), and we may earn referral fees from firms for matched introductions and affiliate commissions from some products mentioned in our guides (disclosed where they appear). Matching is always free for the people seeking a CPA, and payment never changes what our guides say.

Our data

Directory listings are compiled from public sources, primarily the State Board's license roster. Firms can claim their profile free to correct and enrich it. If you represent a firm and see an error — or want your listing removed — contact us and we'll fix it promptly.
