These terms govern your use of alabamacpa.com, operated by Alabama CPA(“we”). By using the site you accept them.

What this service is

Alabama CPA is a directory and referral service. We list Alabama CPA firms, publish educational content, and — when you ask — forward your request to firms that may fit your needs. We are not a CPA firm and do not provide accounting, tax, or legal services. Content on this site is general information, not professional advice; consult a licensed professional about your specific situation.

Matching and referrals

• Matching is free for people seeking a CPA. Submitting a request authorizes us to share it, including your contact details, with matched firms.
• We may receive compensation from firms in connection with introductions, featured placement, or subscriptions. Featured placement is always labeled.
• We don't guarantee that any firm will respond, accept your engagement, or perform to any standard. Your engagement is with the firm you hire, on terms you agree with them.

Directory data

Listings are compiled from public sources, primarily the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy license roster, plus information provided by firms that claim their profiles. We work to keep listings accurate but make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or current license status. Verify licensure directly with the State Board before engaging any firm. Firms may request corrections or removal via our contact page.

Firm accounts and subscriptions

• Firm owners may claim only profiles they are authorized to represent. We may verify, suspend, or revoke claims at our discretion.
• Featured Firm subscriptions are billed through Stripe at the prices shown at checkout, renew automatically, and can be canceled anytime (placement continues through the paid period). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at scale, submit false matching requests, misrepresent your identity or firm affiliation, or use the service to spam firms or consumers. We may block or terminate access for abuse.

Intellectual property

Site content (guides, copy, design) is ours or licensed to us; you may not republish it commercially without permission. Firm names and marks belong to their owners; listing them does not imply endorsement in either direction.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or from any engagement with a listed or matched firm. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law and changes
